10:04 am - Mom's condition

Mom went through surgery successfully last Wednesday. Tomorrow she goes to the oncologist to see what to do next treatment-wise. The cancer in her right breast was a different type than the cancer in her left breast, so the chemo drugs may be totally different from the ones used the first time. Mom seems to be taking this all in stride... I don't think I could be nearly as strong in her situation. God is keeping her strong throughout this, I'm sure.

We got Mom's biopsy results back yesterday. She does have cancer in the right breast. I just wish the insurance company would have let her remove both breasts in the first surgery so she wouldn't have to go through this again. I also have to work the day of the surgery, which SUCKS. Thank God for everyone who has been praying for her and sending cards, etc. She has been feeling pretty good also. I know God is holding on to all of us as we get through this together.
